Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-07-29
1. Acceptance
By creating a Domi account or signing in, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
Domi is a personal life-management platform. You provide it information about your household, vehicles, residences, appliances, and other assets — directly, through documents you upload, or through accounts you choose to connect (Google, Apple iCloud, or Microsoft email and calendars, or email you forward to your household's Domi address) — and Domi organizes that information and surfaces tasks you may want to act on. You can also connect AI assistants you already use to your household: they read by default and can only make changes with your explicit consent and per-change confirmation. Domi routes each kind of task to the third-party AI provider best suited for it — currently Anthropic, OpenAI, and Cohere — chosen per task by Domi, not configurable per account, and always under terms that prohibit training on your data; see the Privacy Policy's sub-processor list.
3. Beta status
Domi is in beta, and access is currently by invitation. The service is provided as is; bugs are expected. There is no uptime guarantee during beta.
4. Account responsibility
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You sign in with your Google account or an email magic link — anyone with access to your inbox may be able to sign in as you, so we recommend enabling two-factor authentication in Settings. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us at the address below.
5. Acceptable use
Don't try to break the service. Don't use Domi to harm others. Don't ingest content you don't own or aren't authorized to share with a third party for processing. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules.
6. Your data
You own the data you provide to Domi. You can request export at any time, and you can delete your account and all its data yourself in Settings — deletion takes effect after a 30-day grace period, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data without your consent, and we do not train AI models on your data — and our AI providers are bound not to either.
7. Service availability
We aim for best-effort availability during V1 but do not commit to a service-level agreement. Maintenance and brief outages may occur without prior notice.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
DOMI IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE FEES YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (DURING V1 BETA THIS IS TYPICALLY ZERO).
9. Termination
Either party may terminate the relationship at any time. Upon termination, you may request export of your data; absent a request, your data is retained per the Privacy Policy and deleted on the schedule described there.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email to the address on file at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Domi after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Judicial District of Montreal.
